SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR-RESORT MARKETING -CRDE (PT/VARIES)

SUMMARY: Responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing engaging content across Pearl River Resort’s social media platforms. This role plays a key part in growing the Resort’s online presence, enhancing guest engagement, and supporting marketing initiatives through creative storytelling, brand consistency, and data-driven strategies.   Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to…   Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.   Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.          Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.                                                               ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and others as appropriate.
• Monitor social media channels for guest interaction, respond to inquiries/comments in a timely and professional manner, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns, promotions, special events, and resort amenities.
• Capture and edit photos and videos for use on social media channels.
• Ensure brand voice, messaging, and visual standards are consistent across all content.
• Track performance metrics and prepare reports on engagement, reach, and ROI.
• Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to optimize content strategies.
• Assist in the development of paid social media advertising campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
• Support other marketing initiatives as needed, including content creation for email, website, and digital signage.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
• Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates.
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   AGE and GAMING: 21 years of age or above Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED is required.   Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media or a related field is preferred.  At least five (5) years of experience in social media management, digital marketing or related role is required.   SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess writing, editing and communication skills.  Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools and analytics dashboards.  Basic photography and video editing  skill (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva experience a plus)   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.   REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or     diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds, and sit for extended periods in excess of 4 hours.  Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, kneeling, pulling and pushing may be required throughout the assigned shift.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vis
