This position is responsible for the timely and accurate input of sensitive HR related data and the processing of employee payroll. This position entails a high responsibility in terms of financial results, compliance, and data privacy.
Your role:
Be responsible for validating and approving personnel change actions along with creating and editing supervisory organizations in the HRIS system. Key aspects of this role also include providing ServiceNow case support to handle employee and manager inquiries and resolving payroll issues in an expeditious and professional manner. Analyzing and resolving data discrepancies between the HRIS and payroll database system. Analyzing pre- and post-payroll audit reports to identify and correct payroll errors. Comply with all Internal Control Standard (ICS) requirements in terms of supporting documentation, audits, and accuracy.
Work in a team-oriented environment supporting HR, Benefits, Compensation, Onboarding, Tax and Finance colleagues with all phone, mail, and e-mail requests.
Departmental projects to grow knowledge and increase exposure surrounding organizational operations.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired a minimum of 3 years payroll experience or HRIS experience.
Your skills include detailed knowledge of office applications (MS Excel; MS Word; MS PowerPoint; MS Outlook), analytical and attentiveness to detail, managing deadlines and time constraints, excellent verbal and written communication. Experience with Workday, ADP GlobalView, Kronos, or SAP HRIS is a plus.
You have an Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
You’re able to research, understand and apply intermediate federal, state and local regulations relating to payroll, labor and employment tax laws.
You have the ability to adapt to frequent changes that can occur with vendor relationships, system updates, policies. You are able and willing to work flexible work hours to ensure payroll deadlines are met.
