Grow here. </strong></p><p>We are seeking a talented Medior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Electrical Engineering team. This role will be pivotal in designing and maintaining electrical circuits, systems, and equipment, with a particular focus on power systems, electric service and supply systems, and lighting systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a passion for electrical engineering, with a focus on creating innovative, reliable, and efficient solutions.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Here is what you will do: </strong></p><ul><li>Execute specific and moderately complex portions of broader engineering assignments under minimal supervision.</li><li>Gather, validate and correlate engineering data using established procedures and tools.</li><li>Perform detailed engineering calculations, analyses, and simple tests for assigned design tasks.</li><li>Propose solutions and adapt standard methods to address new or unfamiliar technical problems.</li><li>Identify and resolve discrepancies in engineering results or documentation.</li><li>Independently complete primary design elements and ensure alignment with project technical requirements.</li><li>Prepare project deliverables (drawings, models, reports) for review by senior engineers.</li><li>Provide guidance and support to entry-level/junior engineers.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to achieving project objectives.</li><li>Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project budgets, schedules, quality standards, and procedures.</li><li>Participate in internal quality reviews and maintain accurate project records.</li><li>Contribute to project proposals and technical sections of bids when required.</li><li>Interact with clients to collect technical information and discuss project requirements, as experience grows.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Here’s what we’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of professional engineering experience in design or consultancy environments.</li><li>Solid understanding of relevant engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret technical data.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently while engaging with a wider team.</li><li>Experience preparing design documentation for medium to large projects.</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills in English;</li><li>Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project priorities.</li><li>Advanced written and verbal communication skill in English.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in Revit MEP.</li><li>Experience working with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).</li><li>Familiarity with clash detection software.</li><li>Professional certification or active pursuit of certification</li><li>Experience coordinating small project tasks or guiding junior engineers.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop approaches for novel or challenging issues.</li><li>Familiarity with international design codes and multidisciplinary workflows.</li><li>Experience communicating with clients and external stakeholders.</li><li>Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest improvements to processes, templates, or design methods.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity</strong></p><p><em>Our Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business – supporting a culture of flexibility, trust and performance at AECOM.</em></p><p>#LI-IP1</p><p><strong>About AECOM</strong> </p><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
