For our office in Cork, we are looking for a

 MR&P CoE Global Financial Lead (12mth FTC)

This position is a Global FP&A role responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for R&D, Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Marketing, and Plant Health. It reports directly to the HQ MR&P COE Manager and partners with the Global FP&A Associate Director and key regional stakeholders to drive transparent and accurate annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and management reporting. The role also works closely with regional Finance Directors and MR&P Centre of Excellence to ensure alignment with regional FP&A processes.

What you'll do with us:

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for Global R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Plant Health
• Oversee economic valuation of R&D pipeline molecules and ensure accurate project-level reporting
• Monitor monthly financials to ensure reporting accuracy and policy compliance across R&D
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, collaborating closely with Procurement
• Prepare financial presentations for Leadership and support regional R&D leaders with day-to-day finance needs
• Manage one direct report, including development, goal setting, and workload oversight

Your qualification & attributes:

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics; MBA, CPA, CFA, or MA preferred
• 6+ years of progressive FP&A experience with strong financial and operational acumen
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; SAP (BPC & BW) experience highly valued
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a matrixed environment
• Proven ability to present financial insights to Senior Leadership and engage with non-financial stakeholders
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial statement analysis
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and ability to solve complex business problems quickly
