Job Summary
Located in Atlanta, GA, CRH Americas Inc. Corporate Finance is currently recruiting for the position of Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and professional team in a changing environment with considerable scope for learning and development.
Job Responsibilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Manage Americas Wire Transfer Process – including payment initiation on bank platforms.
- Responsible for Healthcare ACH/Wire payment processing and supporting schedules.
- Process weekly back-office expense approvals via Concur for three corporate entities.
- Prepare weekly general ledger entries related to employee T&E expenses.
- Bank deposits and related journal entries.
- Assist with monthly bank and GL account reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing company allocations.
- Backup for input of PO and Standalone invoices.
- Backup for monthly debt statement processing.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Other duties as directed by the Finance Team.
- Assist in ongoing process improvement and automation.
- Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
Job Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in accounting in a Corporate environment preferred
- Must have expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be 18 years in age or older
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
- Demonstrate a hands-on, collaborative approach and work well in a team
- Able to read and/or follow written and verbal instructions and implement the same.
- Ability to adapt to changing and process driven environment.
- Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Has the ability to achieve tight deadlines and work under pressure.
