Improving the maintainability &amp; scalability of our architecture for crawling</li><li><strong>Improving system for entity-resolutio</strong><strong>n</strong>. Increasing the accuracy &amp; scalability  of our entity-resolution system</li></ul><p><span>Our core stack includes Python, Apache Airflow and PostgreSQL. We work in Google Cloud Platform, making use of services like Cloud Composer, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.</span></p> <h3>What we hope you bring to the role:</h3> <ul><li>Your have a user-centric mindset to solving engineering problems</li><li>You have 3-5 years of experience working in a data- or backend oriented software engineering position</li><li>You are proficient in SQL</li><li>You are proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python (Experience with Python is preferred but not required)</li><li>Work experience within a agile, startup-like environment is preferred but not required</li><li>Relevant work authorization for the country you intend to work in</li></ul> <h3>Interview Process</h3> <p>As a first step in the interview process you'll meet a member of the Engineering team to talk about your background, motivations and to ask us any questions you might have. Depending on the role, we'll then schedule a Coding Interview and a System Design Interview to evaluate your technical skills. Finally, you'll get a chance to meet the entire Engineering team and to talk to one of EarlyBird's partners as well.</p>
