The Senior Partnerships Specialist plays a strategic role in driving and overseeing partnerships to achieve business growth. Success in this role is measured by the revenue generated for LearnUpon through these partnerships. With 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of successful partnership management. You will be a strategic thinker, commercially minded, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
The role involves overseeing and enhancing an existing portfolio of partnerships, including referrals, resellers, marketplace, and strategic partners. It requires building and nurturing strong relationships, acting as a bridge between internal stakeholders and partners. Analysis of market trends and data-driven metrics is crucial for optimizing partnership performance and identifying growth opportunities. Additionally, the position involves contributing to project planning and execution, prioritizing tasks effectively, and displaying adaptability in navigating complex partnership landscapes. A customer-focused approach, analytical thinking, ownership mentality, and a drive for continuous improvement are essential characteristics for success in this role. In essence, the primary objective of this role is to drive partner-sourced revenue for LearnUpon, emphasizing the pivotal role this position plays in contributing to the company's overall financial success.
What will I be doing?
- Be the subject matter expert in LearnUpon’s partner offerings, possessing an in-depth understanding that enables you to effectively empower and educate internal teams
- Your expertise will be in skillfully articulating LearnUpon’s value proposition to partners, ensuring impactful representation, and driving successful engagements and partnerships
- Maintain positive working relationships and regular communication with all our Partners
- You will work closely with LearnUpon and the Partners’ Sales and Customer Experience (CX) teams to provide them with the value proposition of each partnership, supporting both internal and external Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies
- Work closely with the LearnUpon Product, Marketing and Sales teams to identify suitable partners, map out their journey, and develop a robust Go-to-Market (GTM) plan with well-defined objectives and metrics
- Identify and implement co-marketing initiatives, including case studies, webinars, blog posts, podcasts, etc., in collaboration with partners to enhance their growth and scale
- Represent LearnUpon at global partner and industry conferences and events on a quarterly basis
- Collaborate with LearnUpon's Finance and Legal teams to negotiate and oversee partner contracts, ensuring the establishment of commercial agreements and favorable terms for LearnUpon
- Leverage tools such as Crossbeam/Reveal to enhance partner collaboration, identify mutual opportunities, and strengthen our joint initiatives
- Efficiently monitor and record all partner lead data in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Skillfully navigate and resolve conflicts that may arise with partners
- You will be responsible for documenting our team's internal processes on all partners to ensure robust knowledge sharing within LearnUpon
- Identify streamlined methods for easy and real-time reporting
What skills do I need?
- 1-3 years of tech industry Partner experience or experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales
- Proven ability to build and nurture positive, long-term partner relationships, fostering trust and collaboration
- KPI-driven, with clear focus on achieving end results
- Strategic thinker, adept at connecting dots and identifying opportunities and threats
- Commercially minded with a strong grasp of business objectives and revenue generation
- Craft and execute business development strategies to expand and fortify partnerships, contributing to overall business growth
- Data-driven mindset, utilizing analytics to inform decision-making and optimize partnership perform
