Shift: 2pm - 12am

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping our truck and trailer fleet safe, operational, and up to DOT regulations. We are currently seeking someone who is confident, has a willingness to learn, can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and can provide excellent problem-solving skills and timely preventative maintenance on our complete fleet of service trucks.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Complete all seasonal and monthly preventative maintenance, including:

1. Regular greases & oil changes
2. Regular maintenance of fluid levels
3. Inspection of U-joints, bearings, and PTO shafts.
4. Inspection of air and exhaust systems.
5. Inspection of tires, including brake functionality.
6. Inspection of suspension system.
7. Light electrical repairs as needed.
8. Steering & fuel system maintenance.

• Perform light duty maintenance work on trucks and trailers as needed.
• Drive trucks to our satellite branches for routine service and repairs as required.
• Maintaining records of parts inventory and other serviced vehicles.
• Repair hoses and wands.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Preventative Maintenance or other mechanical work
• Mechanic courses and general truck knowledge is a plus
• Insurable driving record
• Possesses basic set of tools
• Basic computer skills
• Organizational and Multitasking skills
• Plumbing experience is a plus
