Meet the team:
Join our dynamic team as we lead Dexcom New Product Introduction Procurement programs, bringing new products, changes, and manufacturing sites into global production.
As the NPI Sourcing Manager, you will drive sourcing strategies, oversee supplier management, and ensure budget compliance and supplier readiness. Collaborating closely with the Advanced Technology Engineering and R&D teams, you will promote early supplier involvement, conduct make vs buy analysis, and develop execution plans aligned with program schedules and cost targets. Your role will involve negotiating supplier agreements, monitoring market trends, and providing cost analysis to ensure successful product launches.
Where you come in:
You will promote early supplier involvement and develop a sustainable supply chain aligned with category strategies
You will lead the sourcing of technical components and subassemblies, evaluating potential suppliers to ensure quality and capability requirements are met
You will conduct make vs buy analysis to determine the most cost-effective sourcing strategies
You will foster strong cross-functional relations, coordinating inputs from product teams to develop execution plans that align with program schedules and cost targets
You will identify potential risks associated with new product sourcing and develop mitigation strategies
You will negotiate and implement supplier agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, etc.), ensuring business and IP concerns are covered
You will monitor market trends and technological advancements, providing recommendations to leverage them for product benefits
You will provide product cost analysis, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure procurement activities are completed on time and within budget
What makes you successful:
You have knowledge and experience in Procurement, Engineering and Medical Device.
You have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to senior management.
You bring significant leadership experience and an understanding of regulated change control, product development process and medical device design control manufacturing transfer.
You have significant technical knowledge and an understanding of FDA/ISO regulations working with GMP’s and ISO standards.
You are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel.
