Job Description

You’ll Provide administrative support to the Geotechnical Bureau by preparing documents, maintaining accurate records, processing data, and communicating professionally with stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Geotechnical Bureau staff in support of program functions.

  • Coordinate and assist with administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, data entry, and report compilation.

  • Prepare business correspondence, memoranda, and supporting documentation in accordance with established standards.

  • Monitor, organize, and maintain files and records to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with procedures.

  • Process and verify data, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to submission or filing.

  • Receive, interpret, and respond appropriately to verbal and written communications from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and other internal or external staff.

  • Exercise independent judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines or processes to complete assigned tasks.

  • Demonstrate a high level of effort, ethical conduct, reliability, and commitment to quality customer service.

You’ll thrive here if you have

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university OR a minimum of two (2) years of related administrative or clerical experience.

  • Demonstrated experience performing administrative or clerical functions in a professional office environment.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply written instructions, policies, procedures, and specifications related to assigned duties.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience processing, posting, and reviewing data for accuracy.

  • Ability to gather, organize, compile, and format information into final report or package form.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain organized filing systems (electronic and/or hard copy).

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.

  • Competency in reviewing and monitoring technical or administrative documents for completeness and accuracy.

  • Possess a valid Georgia Driver's license.

  • Abide by Atlas health and safety policies and procedures.
