Inventory Cycle Counter (Onshore & Offshore Operations)

Overview
The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records across both onshore warehouse facilities and offshore locations. This role ensures material accuracy, supports operational readiness, and minimizes inventory discrepancies through systematic cycle counting, reconciliation, and reporting. The position requires attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently in both office/warehouse and offshore environments.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled cycle counts of inventory in onshore warehouse and offshore facilities
Verify material quantities, locations, part numbers, and condition
Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records
Update inventory management systems accurately and timely
Support material transfers between onshore and offshore locations
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and offshore safety regulations
Assist with annual physical inventories and audits
Maintain organized storage areas to promote accurate counts and efficient operations
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and counting processes
Work Environment
Combination of onshore warehouse/office setting and offshore platform assignments
May require offshore rotations and travel
Exposure to industrial warehouse conditions (lifting, climbing, PPE required)
Must comply with offshore safety and training requirements
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience
Basic proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to obtain offshore certifications (e.g., safety and survival training)
Preferred:
Experience in oil & gas or industrial operations
Experience working in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Prior offshore work experience
