About the role

  • Develop and implement company environmental policies and safety programs to comply with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. Investigate accidents and environmental incidents to identify causes of accidents and prevent their reoccurrence. Monitor environmental compliance and maintain liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with accident investigations and follow-up with required corrective action  
  • Track Environmental, Health and Safety metrics including Quarterly KPIs and PPE Acknowledgement submissions  
  • Responsible for the accuracy and auditing of all OSHA and Safety related statistics 
  • Maintain safety files and records; prepares reports for management as needed 
  • Generate Quarterly charts and safety information topics for communications meetings 
  • Create, analyze, and distribute monthly safety performance tracking metrics 
  • Track, log, and file training certifications  
  • Quantify and present Fleet & Safety statistics to the Safety Leadership team 
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of Safety Communications 
  • Administrate the Safety Accident Management (SAM) Database
