Position Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve infrastructure security and compliance roadmaps across network and data center domains, proposing modernization and transformation options aligned to business outcomes

  • Partner with architecture and engineering leaders to influence policy, design, and investment decisions, connecting technical choices to risk posture, reliability, customer experience, and financial metrics

  • Develop scenario analyses and recommendations that clearly communicate impacts, tradeoffs, constraints, and risks to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders

  • Drive infrastructure compliance through automation by embedding security, policy, audit, and configuration standards into repeatable workflows (e.g., golden templates/guardrails, validation checks, automated remediation, and evidence collection)

  • Lead and coordinate vulnerability risk management activities for infrastructure

  • Triage and prioritize findings with engineering owners

  • Establish SLAs and exception processes

  • Track remediation to closure and support retesting/verification

  • Direct or support technical initiatives from concept to validation, including test planning/execution, inspections, analysis, and clear technical reporting

  • Identify architectural weaknesses and opportunities; implement automation and efficiency improvements that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and speed delivery

  • Support audits and compliance assessments (internal/external) by ensuring controls are documented, evidence is timely, and stakeholders are prepared

  • Build strong partnerships across cybersecurity, compliance, risk, engineering, and operations; act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for infrastructure security issue

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years’ experience with security infrastructure, product and cybersecurity systems analysis, design, development, and testing

  • Experience building roadmaps, strategy and leading enterprise initiatives to completion

  • Experience with data center infrastructure and technologies including network and transport services, server clusters and virtualization, and storage

  • 3+ years’ Experience in Vulnerability management operations in scanning, report creation and custom scripts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience in translating security requirements into engineering standards and automated control patterns (policy-as-code concepts, configuration baselines, validation, automated evidence)

  • Experience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain strong working relationships

  • Experience in intelligence requirements, GSOC operations and/or security and fire protection activity is desirable

  • Knowledge of non-US locations and culture is desirable

  • Strong communication skills: able to write crisp technical narratives, present tradeoffs, and influence senior stakeholders
