Senior SharePoint Online (SPO) Engineer

Overview

Nakupuna Solutions is looking for a Senior SharePoint Online (SPO) Engineer. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Power Platform Developer with a strong understanding of business processes and a proven ability to design, develop, and implement robust and user-friendly solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Power Platform tools, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Power Pages, and Power BI. Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development is highly desired. 

 

The role involves collaborating closely with business users to understand their requirements, analyze existing processes, and design and develop innovative solutions using the Power Platform. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

• Work with business users to analyze and refine their processes and requirements.
• Design and develop efficient solutions using Power Platform tools, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Power Pages, and Power BI.
• Develop, execute, and track test cases and testing results.
• Maintain and support existing solutions, ensuring their optimal performance and stability.
• Assist business users in utilizing Power Platform tools effectively and adhering to best practices.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Possesses strong SPFx development skills, enabling them to build custom, responsive, and user-friendly SharePoint solutions. (3+ years)
• Proficiency in creating business applications using PowerApps, including both canvas and model-driven apps: Required (3+ years)
• This candidate possesses strong SPFx development skills, enabling them to build custom, responsive, and user-friendly SharePoint solutions.
• Ability to design and develop custom user experiences using Power Apps component framework: Required (3+ years)
• Proficiency in automating workflows and business processes using Power Automate: Required (3+ years)
• Proficiency in creating and managing desktop flows using Power Automate Desktop: Required (3+ years)
• Proficiency in creating and managing external-facing Power Pages websites integrating data from Microsoft Dataverse: Required (3+ years)
• Experience with integrating various systems and services using custom connectors and RESTful APIs: Required (2+ years)
• Ability to provide support for apps, flows, and solutions: Required (5+ years)
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills: Required (5+ years)

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams: Highly Desired (2+ years)
• Experience in creating and integrating Power BI to embed interactive data visualizations and business intelligence capabilities into applications: Highly Desired (2+ years)

Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

 

Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Public Trust security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
