About the role

Location: Europe (Remote Working)

We’re looking for a dedicated Regional Employee Experience Manager (EMEA) to lead strategic Employee Experience initiatives in our rapidly expanding EMEA region.

The EMEA team currently consists of approximately 70 employees across the United Kingdom Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, , Germany, Denmark, Poland and the UAE.

As a Regional Employee Experience Manager (EMEA), you will play a pivotal role in aligning Employee Experience practices with business objectives across the EMEA region. You'll collaborate closely with senior management, providing strategic guidance and operational support to drive organizational success. Your expertise in HR processes, labor law, and change management will be critical in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement.

The Regional Employee Experience Manager (EMEA) will report directly to the Global VP, Employee Experience while working closely with EMEA business leaders and with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Managing Director of the EMEA Region.

Responsibilities: 

With the support of a wider global HR team, you’ll be responsible for leading Employee Experience activities in Europe and the Middle, your role will include some of the following aspects:

Business Partnership and Influence:

  • Build strong relationships with EMEA region with leaders and broadly, all employees.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of the region and the individual countries that make up the region.
  • Provide credible advice on people-related processes and risk management.
  • Collaborate with other HRBPs and the EX specialist functions.
  • Understand how to enable the business goals of both the region and the global company through your work in the region.
  • Providing strategic guidance on total rewards and compensation, collaborating with the Total Rewards team including Sales Compensation. Provide the EMEA Leadership Team with strategic insights and trends to drive discussions and change initiatives as needed.

Strategic EX Leadership:

  • Lead and execute key EX projects aligned with the Strategic EX Business Plan.
  • Drive decisions based on business requirements and legal/regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure talent acquisition, development, and retention to support growth objectives.
  • Communicate frequently and proactively with the Global EX team to ensure alignment with overall corporate strategy.
  • Lead the evolution of Copperleaf EMEA’s Employer Value Proposition.
  • Proactively analyzing benefit trends to ensure we stay competitive and stay current with changing trends and regulatory updates.
  • Ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are embedded in EMEA’s EX strategic initiatives to align with corporate DEI goals.

Employee Relations and Risk Management:

  • Manage all employee relations issues.
  • Educate the business on accountability and risk mitigation.
  • Work closely with the Global EX team to ensure efficient service delivery.

Talent & Change Management:

  • Lead people and change management initiatives. 
  • Design and implement organizational changes.
  • Provide workforce planning and talent management guidance. 

About you: 

  • You have previous experience working as a senior strategic business partner and leading HR activities for 8+ years, previous working experience in a software company would be an asset!
  • You have experience managing complex employee relations issues across numerous jurisdictions in EMEA.
  • You have experience in high growth organizations,
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources or Business, or related fields.
  • You have experience overseeing talent acquisition, experience in recruiting technical and go-to -market roles would be a plus
  • You’re self-motivated, pragmatic, proactive, and take initiative
  • You’re a great team player in a dynamic environment
  • You’re naturally organized, detail oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities
  • You have a strong service orientation and have shown discretion and the ability to maintain a high ethical standard and confidentiality
