Senior Accounting Officer

<h2>Purpose of the Job</h2> <p>At InsingerGilissen, he/she will be part of the team in charge of the day-to-day general bookkeeping, accounting controls, regulatory reporting to National Competent Authorities and to the headquarter at Luxembourg.</p> <h2>Key Accountabilities</h2> <ul> <li>Be in charge of the day-to-day management of all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, general ledger management (fees &amp; interest revenues, amortization, impairment and cost management) and maintaining Agresso software.</li> <li>Perform and participate at the closing of monthly and annual results.</li> <li>Report the regulatory reporting to the Dutch National Competent Authorities and to the Group (FinRep, CoRep and LiqRep)</li> <li>Report the tax declarations to local authorities (VAT/CIT)</li> <li>Act as contact for all accounting/reporting matters to senior management, peers and other finance and risk stakeholders across Quintet Group</li> <li>Maintain and improve the quality of Static Data (Management)</li> <li>Meet all regulatory and internal business requirements in due time and ensure compliance of the accounting/reporting with IFRS and Group valuation rules, in close cooperation with the Finance teams and in case with software providers.</li> <li>Collaborate or interact directly with internal and external auditors.</li> <li>Close collaboration with MIS/FP&amp;A, participate with management and follow up of operating expenses and related provisions.</li> <li>Maintain and improve the set-up of the Engine database used for (regulatory) reporting to the group.</li> </ul> <h2>Knowledge and Experience</h2> <p>7+ years of post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration or a comparable qualification</p> <p>Good knowledge of banking regulation.</p> <p>7+ years of experience in accounting/finance in banks.</p> <h2>Attributes and Qualities</h2> <p>Analytical skills</p> <p>Writing and communication ability</p> <p>Precision</p> <p>Flexibility</p> <p>Efficient collaboration with other teams</p> <p>Very high teamwork and communication skills</p> <p>Desire to continuously improve processes</p> <p>Critical thinking</p> <h2>Technical Skills</h2> <p>Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.</p> <p>Good knowledge of banking regulation and experience with Regulatory Reporting</p> <p>Good understanding of the accounting tools, banking systems (Bankview) and Office Suite.</p> <h2>Languages Skills</h2> <p>Fluent in Dutch and English.</p>
