The Role
Force Factor is seeking a sharp, detail-obsessed Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced, high-growth team in Boston. This is a hands-on role where you'll be a key player in keeping our books tight and our financials accurate as we scale. You’ll own core accounting processes, help drive month-end close, and collaborate across departments to support our mission of bringing innovative, effective supplements to consumers around the world. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of schedules and documentation
- Support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Process and record A/P and A/R transactions as needed
- Assist with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS) tracking
- Partner cross-functionally with teams like Supply Chain and Sales for transactional accuracy
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation efforts
- Help maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Support ad hoc projects and reporting as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Proven work experience (2+ years) in accounting or external audit
- CPA or CPA track a plus
- Experience in CPG, retail, or e-commerce preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capable of multitasking and working effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Results-hungry self-starter with a proven track record of growing sales
- Detail-oriented, driven, and organized high performer with an insatiable desire to win
