Job Functions:
Our Donor Services Associate will participate in supporting the Tampa Bay community through data entry work and other customer support functions as a member of a larger team. Come join us and witness first-hand how this amazing community rallies to support those in need during the holiday season. This is an administrative job not dealing directly with the public. As our Donor Services Associate you will help provide vital support to Metropolitan Ministries and to those we serve. Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of the donor database including, but not limited to, the processing of financial gifts daily which requires a basic knowledge of Raiser’s Edge. Training on the use of Raiser’s Edge will be provided. DSA may be asked to assist with processing cash gifts, credit card gifts, and gifts given via check, plus database clean up processes related to each.
- DSA may need to provide backup data entry support for the In-kind Team. All functions must meet the timelines acceptable to company standards.
- Review and comply with departmental procedures. Responsible for accurate and timely data entry.
- Assist with maintenance of donor records and database cleanup as assigned.
- Work with office equipment including copier, scanner, folding/inserter machine, postage meter, and shredder.
- Must successfully demonstrate the following skills: problem solving, ability to perform multiple tasks, prioritizing, speed, accuracy, and querying and reporting. Must successfully demonstrate advanced computer skills and problem-solving ability with software, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Meets personal goals and actively contributes to the achievement of team and organizational goals. Support the team in other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
High School graduate and demonstrated proficiency with business software packages including Microsoft Excel and Word required. Clerical skills including adding machine required. One to two years proven experience in a related field.

Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; must be able to communicate effectively in English; must be dependable; demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity; ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail; ability to handle job-related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner. Customer service-oriented with a positive and helpful attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Hearing and speaking ability which allows for effective oral communication of information; physical, emotional, and spiritual stamina to handle job-related issues and stress.
Other:
Demonstrates a passion for the mission and vision of Metropolitan Ministries. Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States.
