The Job:
As a Director, Human Resources, Commercial C&I, you’ll be part of our Commercial team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the human resources function within the Commercial team.
- Collaborate as a key business partner to the President of Commercial & Industrial to influence and deliver market leading growth.
- Translate business strategies into actionable HR plans.
- Develop and implement staffing strategies to attract and retain top talent, utilizing effective external sourcing as needed.
- Drive a high-performance culture by ensuring participation in performance management and development programs.
- Identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps; develop targeted programs such as succession planning, training, and business education.
- Regularly assess HR programs and practices against industry benchmarks to ensure competitiveness.
- Build credibility as a trusted listener and problem solver for team and business issues.
- Promote communication and sharing of best practices to support continuous improvement.
- Lead designated HR projects and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- Typical travel is 10-25% dependent on business activities.
- Demonstrate expertise in change management and successfully lead change initiatives.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of the link between HR and business strategy.
- Effective collaborator within HR and across the organization.
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance, including visa regulations.
- Flexible, resourceful, and organized; able to work in a multi-functional role and meet commitments.
- Highly articulate, energetic, and dynamic leader with professionalism, integrity, emotional intelligence, and confidence.
- Exceptional communication skills; thrives in a complex, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
