Job Description:
As a Material Handler / Yard Truck Driver on our 3rd Shift team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of manufacturing materials and finished goods. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating fork trucks and handling materials manually as required.
- Transporting trailers/tankers to designated areas using yard trucks.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and submitting SAP entries during material movements.
- Preparing packaging, obtaining samples, changing filters, labeling, and loading various containers with finished products.
- Following standard operating procedures, including monitoring transfers for compounding/blending materials and making adjustments as necessary.
- Adhering to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment through assigned housekeeping tasks.
- Following verification processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Seeking assistance from higher-level production personnel when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
- Valid driver's license and experience operating yard trucks/forklifts.
- CDL preferred.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and follow SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
