Senior Engineering Program Manager, IS -Service Now

 

The Senior Engineering Program Manager (IS – ServiceNow) is a leadership role within Enterprise Information Services at Providence. The position focuses on defining, designing, and delivering ServiceNow-based solutions and services that enhance caregiver experience and add organizational value. This role spans the entire lifecycle of ServiceNow solutions—from strategy and design to implementation and continuous improvement.

In addition to program leadership, the role includes:

  • Working closely with stakeholders across business and technical teams to align priorities and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Creating a clear vision and roadmap for ServiceNow initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Owning the product end-to-end, including backlog management, release planning, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 5 or more years of related experience
  • Strong program experience
  • Strong project experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
  • 5 or more years of ServiceNow experience
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Coordinating between engineering, clinical, and administrative teams
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Communicating effectively with executives, clinicians, and technical staff
  • Strategic Thinking – Aligning engineering programs with broader healthcare organizational goals
  • Change Management – Leading teams through transitions, especially during tech upgrades or process shifts
  • Data Analysis & Reporting – Using metrics to track program success and inform decision-making
  • Process Improvement – Applying methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma to streamline operations
