Summary of Job Duties:

UAMS Project Heal is seeking a full-time Research Program Manager to lead impactful work in community violence prevention across Arkansas. This role offers the opportunity to combine research expertise with purpose—overseeing multiple intervention projects that support communities affected by gun violence.

The Research Program Manager will guide the day-to-day operations of Project Heal, including scheduling team meetings, monitoring study activities, developing and refining procedures, and maintaining data quality in systems such as REDCap. This position also involves supervising dedicated Project Heal staff, coordinating communications, and partnering with investigators to advance data collection, analysis, and dissemination efforts.

Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience in violence intervention research and a strong commitment to working collaboratively with communities most impacted by violence.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in public health, health behavior a health education, health services administration, health policy and management, or related field, plus one (1) year of program/project management experience in a community, clinical, or acad
