As a Sr DevOps Platform Engineer within PNC's DevOps organization, you will work with an agile crew and engineer solutions for our Source Code Management and Release Automation platforms which provide the foundational pillars of PNC's software supply chain.
Requirements:
Experience with Kubernetes and / or Openshift and Helm deploying application services
Experience with automation frameworks and tools like Ansible and Terraform
Experience with the Jenkins platform, provisioning, configuring, and using automation like Jenkins Configuration as Code (JCasC)
Experience programming and scripting (with languages like Golang, Python, Java/Groovy or Bash)
Expertise with Git and platforms such as Atlassian BitBucket / GitHub Enterprise / Azure DevOps Server
Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery Best Practices
Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, willing to take initiative and able to apply new technologies when appropriate

Designs and engineers’ solutions for the DevOps platforms that comprise PNC's Software Supply Chain
Engineers the installation, configuration and overall hygiene for our DevOps platforms and tools
Automates all the things because no one likes to do anything manually twice..
Provides technical guidance and assistance to other fellow engineers on the crew
Conducts source code reviews and assists in strengthening the foundation of the Enterprise Source Code Management and Release Automation platforms

- Provides expertise on platform engineering, while overseeing the team's effort and meeting customer needs. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
- Develops software components and hardware for complex projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
- Provides expertise on best practices, standards, engineering approaches and complex technical resolutions for processes.
- Places emphasis on quality improvement efforts; ensures that deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable through estimation and correction.
- Communicates with customers and integrates their needs with development, to meet business objectives.
