Senior Data Analyst, SimpleNursing

Position Overview: The primary job function for this position will be to extract, transform, and analyze customer data to empower business leaders to make data driven decisions. The Senior Customer Analyst provides insights, reports, and visualizations to communicate to business leaders effectively. Identifying more efficient ways to collect and analyze data so work can be scaled throughout the organization. This role will primarily serve our esteem SimpleNursing brand.

What You'll Do

• Extracts data from primary and secondary sources, assess quality of data, make necessary transformations for data to be used in Business Intelligence tools. 
• Work across a wide variety of quantitative custom research methods (lifetime value, subscription models, net promoter score, user experience, market segmentation, etc.) 
• Learn the programming and logic used to create the key reports produced by the Analytics department and edit and improve the reports as needed. 
• Create dashboards that visualizes data for stakeholders 
• Experience tracking and reporting on user behavior 
• Pull records for customer data requiring complicated logic and data source integration. 
• Use a variety of software, such as Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, and programming languages to extract, manipulate, and format data and files 
• Evaluate the key take-aways and convey the findings to management in a clear and concise way. 
• Communicate insights effectively 

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Minimum of 2 years as an Analyst or related experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field 
• Experience in PowerBI and/or other visualization tools 
• Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language). 
• Familiarity with R, Python a plus 
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level) 
• Proficient in statistical and mathematical data analysis techniques such as regression analysis a plus 
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques a plus 
• Experience with Matomo and/or other web analytics platforms a plus 
• Experience working with a Membership/Subscription model preferred  
• Netsuite experience a plus 
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills 
• Inherent curiosity and enthusiasm 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience and confidence engaging with senior leadership.
