Student - Meter Painter

Minnesota Energy Resources is recruiting for Student Meter Painters (Student Worker) in Bemidji, Minnesota. These are full-time summer positions beginning in May or June. The typical hours for this position are 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

 

Starting Pay: $17.85

Job Summary

Summer students provide general assistance and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by various departments in the corporate and district offices, service center, warehouse, and surrounding locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting
• Perform painting (primarily meter sets), cleaning, and housekeeping duties
• Load, unload, and store material
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as minor repairs, changing light bulbs, etc.
• Enter data and operate computers
• File documents

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
• Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a Technical, Associate, Bachelor, or Master's Degree
• A valid driver’s license
• This position requires you to use your personal vehicle to travel to various work sites throughout the day
