Introducing our new work schedule: 12-hour shifts with a 3 or 4-day work week. This allows for full-time work with up to 16 days off per month! You can enjoy more than half the year off while still working full-time. Additionally, we allow and encourage you to pick up extra shifts.
Job Types: Full Time, PRN/Casual
Pay: *Average $18.67 /hour ($16.00 /hr for weekdays & premium pay $24/hr for weekend)
* This pay range represents Candeo's average range for this role at the time of posting based on 3 days work schedule (2 weekdays & 1 weekend). Compensation offered will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to, Number days works, shift type and site need.
We have several shifts and schedules to meet your needs…these are general options :
- Shifts: Days: 7am - 7pm
- Sunday ,Monday Tuesday
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- 12-hour work shifts allow for full-time work and full- time benefits and have more days off per month!

What You Will Do:
- Ensure services to client meet the highest quality possible
- Ensure that client budgeted hours are provided
- Support staff to understand and implement client’s care plan
- Ensure effective relationships between all stakeholders of the organization (clients, staff, P/G/A’s, case managers, etc.)
- Be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all documents and reports relating to the position
- Ensure clients are educated and empowered to make choices about services
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and implementation of the client’s Life Plan, in accordance with client’s preferences
- Follow established safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients and the organization
- Work effectively within a team to enhance service delivery
- Respect the right to privacy of the client, and confidentiality requirements of Candeo
- Use initiative to think creatively, learn, and grow
- Model and use good decision-making skills and accesses appropriate resources to assist in developing quality services for clients
- Attend organizational and client-specific training and provide documentation of certifications required for employment with Candeo
- Comply with documentation policies by submitting accurate and timely paperwork including progress notes, billing sheets, time sheets, expense logs, and other required reports
- Maintain documentation of services provided that clearly and legibly reflects the client’s goals, staff intervention and support, client response and progress made
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with people with disabilities and/or mental health is preferable
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of Automobile Insurance
- Valid telephone number
- Valid address
- Internet, Email access, smartphone access
- Microsoft Teams access (Teams will need to be downloaded onto your phone or computer)
- High level of both written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to pass a motor vehicle record check and criminal background check
