Plant Engineer-Mechanical Maintenance (80677607)

FT, Portland, TX.Minimum requirements: bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical maintenance engineering, electrical engineering, or related major + 2 yrs experience in iron &/or steel manufacturing including 2 yrs experience with AutoCad. Must be able to walk long distances, stand/work more than 2 hrs in tough environmental conditions & withstand heights of up to 500 ft. Occasional domestic [national] travel to conference and/or equipment manufacturers, or training, 1-3 times a year. Duties: lead the design and maintenance of the facility & material handling systems, machinery and equipment; oversee technical root cause analysis, preventative maintenance scheduling and planning; manage project budgets; oversee coordination of contractors and third-party services; create standard procedures and engineering workflows.
