Job Summary:
The Business Services Coordinator plays a vital role within the Division of Community Practice, supporting the achievement of division goals and maintaining positive working relationships across teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, independence, and the ability to manage daily business tasks with a focus on efficiency and confidentiality. The coordinator will also troubleshoot issues as they arise and must have a solid understanding of relevant University policies, including procurement, HR, budget, events, and travel.
A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining professional relationships with faculty, fellows, and staff, while embracing a collaborative and team-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities and be adept at handling multiple, complex tasks under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute projects assigned by the Division Chief or Division Administrator
Divisional level meeting minutes
Support the Division Chiefs and the Division Administrator of Community with calendar management.
Handle/maintain/develop routine correspondence and materials, sensitive and confidential employee information, and employee personnel files.
Schedule meetings for internal and external participants
Participate in organized training and meetings to learn new aspects related to the job and retain current information on research, academic policies and procedures, and general campus operations.
With the needed training provided, the Business Services Professional for the Division of Community Practice may provide backup support and assistance to other departmental administrative support staff.
Perform procurement functions including travel card, procurement card, purchase orders, and associated budget management (speed type audits/reports, allowable expenditures, etc.) for the division, including travel arrangements and reimbursements for all members of Community Practice members
Support Community Practice Division level event coordination as necessary
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.
