Schedule Details/Additional Information:

'The replacement APP will be working 7 half days in the clinic doing a combination of minimally invasive gynecology surgery and general gyn clinic. One of these clinics will be to cover and support MIGS expansion out in High Point. The other two half days will be to assist in the OR. 

Pay Range

$50.05 - $75.10

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, Master's degree preferred

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:

• Current applicable state Medical Board Medical License
• Certified by NCCPA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan.
2. Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.
3. Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures. Explains the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
4. Procedural skills per department or practice guidelines
5. Opportunity to participate in basic science and clinical research projects
6. Potential for and encouraged to precept students and/or medical learners

8. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
