Senior Product Manager - Reference Content (f/m/d)

SAP LeanIX is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the SAP Reference Content domain. In this strategic role, you will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, a UX designer, an engineering manager as well as internal RISE Enterprise Architects to deliver innovative solutions that help our customers plan their SAP transformations - directly within SAP LeanIX.

By integrating SAP Reference Content into SAP LeanIX, your work will empower CIOs and enterprise architects to make informed decisions and accelerate transformation initiatives.

 

What Awaits You?

• Ownership & Vision: Lead the product vision and roadmap for SAP Reference Content, collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to align with SAP LeanIX’s strategic objectives.

• Collaboration: Work closely with our customers and internal RISE Enterprise Architects to understand challenges, translate needs into actionable insights and ensure our products delivers measurable value.

• Product Discovery: Drive product discovery processes, conducting market research, analyze customer feedback, and collaborate with the UX team to design intuitive and impactful solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, the SAP global content group, analytics, UX, legal, and compliance teams to ensure secure, ethical, and scalable product development.

• Strategic Influence: Engage with product marketing and sales to position the product effectively, differentiate it in the market, and communicate its unique value proposition.

• Team Empowerment: Act as a catalyst for the team's success, managing the backlog, setting priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

 

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Product Management Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in a Product Management role, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment

• Ability to navigate technical models: Comfortable to work with Reference Content Models that support SAP RISE transformations and capable of connecting it to the LeanIX metamodel as well as our customer’s transformation journey. SAP RISE knowhow is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Enterprise Architecture Acumen: Familiarity with enterprise architecture or IT landscape transformation is highly desirable but not mandatory.

• Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated ability to engage deeply with customers, understand their pain points, and translate them into innovative solutions.

• Technical and UX Fluency: Comfortable collaborating with UX and engineering teams to move from a prototype towards a sound technical concept that addresses our customer’s problems

• Agile Practitioner: Proficiency in working within agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams.

• Analytical and Strategic Thinker: Strong skills in analytics, market research, and competitive positioning.

• Fluent Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
