Senior Business Analyst/Product Manager

As a Senior Business Analyst/Product Manager, You Will: Help with the company evolving to a product-centric culture. The customer-focused Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager will lead the development and growth of a product line. The product manager will work with the ADD section chief and design team manager plus key stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of customer and business needs, create a compelling product vision, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver value continuously to the organization. The ADD section is looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager who will be responsible for working with a cross-functional agile team to define, implement, and track delivery plans and roadmaps associated with a portfolio of intranet web applications built on Drupal and SharePoint. 

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Minimum of 7 years of previous experience as a SharePoint Developer
• Think strategically, be self-motivated, and have demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
• In collaboration with section leadership, develop strategic product roadmaps; craft and communicate a vision that is understandable by all stakeholders
• Communicate portfolio and project updates to managers and stakeholders, creating buy in on product vision and ensuring or developing strategic alignment A
• Act as a point of intake for product improvements and requirements from internal stakeholders and customers
• Establish and maintain relationships with key business and technology stakeholders to generate agreement, set priorities, and drive alignment
• Plans, develops, and supports internal communications strategies to achieve specific, measurable goals, ensuring organizational needs are met and aligned with section priorities
• Writes content that is clear, easy to understand, and written in natural language for technical and non-technical audiences
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, to reach diverse stakeholders, with strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills
• US Citizenship required

Preferred skills:

• Working experience with one or more lean or agile software development life cycle methodologies, and experience working within a software development team
• Familiarity or experience with the principles of design thinking, UX design and research
• Ability to lead multiple, complex projects and work-streams with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Drupal
• Product management certification preferred
