DESCRIPTION
As the Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will be a key driver of success for our Marketing team. In this role, you will lead the charge in streamlining marketing processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and managing business-critical data strategies to fuel pipeline and revenue growth.
We’re seeking a candidate with proven experience building, scaling, and optimizing modern marketing operations, with a deep understanding of the sophisticated tech stacks utilized by $150M+ ARR companies. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on execution to deliver impactful outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Technology Management
- Oversee and optimize traditional marketing tools and platforms such as Salesforce, Hubspot, 6sense, Dreamdata, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Qualified.
- Manage and oversee data enrichment and data automation/engagement tools to ensure we have current and actionable data for our teams.
- Evaluate and implement new tools as needed to improve efficiency, enhance campaign performance, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
Campaign Tracking, Attribution and Reporting
- Reimagine our tracking framework to ensure accurate data capture across all digital touchpoints, including custom event tracking, UTMs, and pixel implementation.
- Support implementation and troubleshooting of tracking strategies using foundational knowledge of website structure and basic coding concepts.
- Refine our marketing attribution strategy by evaluating and applying various attribution models. Ensure we optimize the use of Dreamdata and UTM parameters to deliver clear, actionable insights into campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain a KPI and ROI reporting cadence for all marketing functions (Growth, PMM, Comms, etc.)
Data Management, Privacy and Compliance
- Work with legal and compliance teams to oversee consent management practices, maintain data privacy standards, and ensure marketing campaigns are executed responsibly and within regulatory frameworks.
- Drive data quality and accuracy through a regular cadence of contact and account enrichment.
- Ensure all marketing operations comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data privacy regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of marketing operations experience in a SaaS startup environment.
- Advanced Salesforce knowledge for campaign reporting and dashboards.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with 6sense platform.
- Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
- Experience working alongside (or as part of) a marketing team and understand the end-to-end of building and measuring integrated marketing campaigns.
- Extraordinary communication and project management skills to prioritize projects and align teams.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in reporting and interpreting data to optimize marketing strategies.
- Takes ownership - you spot areas of opportunity, analyze them, and proactively provide solutions.
- Passionate about marketing operations and technology and stays up to date on the latest trends.
