As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, with more than 600 employees, we develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad and set the tone for modern trade.
We are looking for a cloud engineer to join our Cloud team and help us design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for defining guidelines and helping teams to get onboarded onto the Cloud. Additionally you will introduce trainings and help teams to gain knowledge in this area.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain Cloud guidelines
- Close teamwork with the development teams of the products, to support them during their journey to the cloud
- Supporting development teams in choosing the most fitting cloud technologies (GCP) and helping them with their challenges
- Make sure cloud guidelines are respected and known
- Test new cloud features (GCP) and align them with the Product Owner
Qualifications
- More than 3 years experience in public cloud area (GCP)
- Experience in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
- Experience in defining and implementing Cloud Guidelines
- Experience with Cloud Network Technologies in GCP (VPCs, PSC, CloudVPN)
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- You should be able to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong teamwork abilities, along with self-responsibility, organisational skills, and coordination abilities, will contribute to a cohesive and productive team environment
