Preference given to candidates residing locally to Aveva Tamarac due to immediate onsite needs.
Job Summary:
This position controls and maintains the spare parts for all AVEVA equipment, and facilities maintenance; oversees the administration of the department SOP’s, inventory control, data collection and required reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees all spare room parts activities. Recommends improvements and modifications; prepares various reports activities of the spare parts room.
- Develops and implements procedures for ordering, receiving, storing and issuing parts, equipment, tools and supplies.
- Answer questions and provide information to other departments, investigate complaints and corrective action as necessary for spare parts room.
- Determines minimum and maximum inventory levels; examines competitive bidding practices for parts; keeps informed of market conditions and new products; evaluates vendor’s performance.
- Assist staff at parts counter and throughout the parts room as needed.
- Assure spare parts room is kept neat, clean, orderly, and accurate inventory is maintained.

Job Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
- Two (2) to five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in inventory control, mechanical and electrical parts
- One (1) to two (2) years' experience in computerized inventory systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Pharmaceutical Manufacturing SOPs and other regulatory requirements.
- Business English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Basic computerized inventory warehouse systems.
- Mechanical and electrical parts.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
