The Shopping Product team is responsible for ensuring our customers understand their possibilities, discover the right homes for their personalized needs, evaluate properties with outstanding data, and ultimately find & win their next home. Within Shopping Product, our app team experts focus on driving that customer value through our iOS and Android mobile applications.

About the role

Our goal is to deliver the best mobile digital experience in real estate! To achieve this, we are building a seamless, high-quality experience across all app surfaces and touchpoints. We build apps that leverage ground breaking capabilities to deliver innovative experiences. This role will provide transparency & insights about our mobile apps to inform roadmaps across the company.

You Will Get To:

• Own the end-to-end ideation, execution, evaluation, and iteration cycle of critical cross-cutting app experiences

• Develop and implement an app adoption & install growth strategy

• Be Zillow’s expert on iOS & Android trends and capabilities, and a thought leader on how to leverage these innovations into industry-leading digital experiences for our customers

• Work across functions (engineering, data science, marketing, product) to own Zillow app data & metrics reporting. Represent app data trends & insights to senior leadership. Influence other product teams roadmaps to drive an excellent core app experience.

• Be the “voice of the customer” representing customer feedback on the app, and synthesize those insights into an actionable app experience strategy

• Work closely with a talented, highly-motivated cross-functional team, and represent app expertise to 150+ product teams within Zillow Group

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $143,200.00 - $228,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

• 5+ years of proficient ability in a product management role, with a focus on building technology products with agile product development

• Experience with building for mobile applications at scale

• High skill and enthusiasm for digging into quantitative and qualitative data, developing and testing hypotheses, and seeking the “why” behind data trends

• Ability to clearly define product objectives, estimated impact, and success metrics that align to business strategy and product vision

• Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, data science, design) and across different product organizations

• Ability to balance strategic priorities, business goals, user needs, technical feasibility, and time to market to define impactful product solutions

• Very strong written communication, with an emphasis on high-quality artifacts (product briefs, strategy documents, leadership-facing presentations)
