* Starting pay is $32.64/hour (This rate is non-negotiable and there is a 6-month probationary period). In this position you have the potential of making up to $45/hour. For more information reference the Teamster collective bargaining agreement: Teamster Union Contract

Role Summary:
Responsible for organizing and directing the activities involved in all aspects of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. Responsible for providing operational leadership to the HCV program staff, covering screening, lease-up and occupancy functions in compliance with federal regulations. The Program Manager is responsible for assessing program quality and implementing improvements to improve accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

Training and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4 years of housing/property management experience with HUD and/or LIHTC housing programs such as HCV, VASH, Public Housing, PBV, PBRA, and CoC programs
• 2 years of experience working with special needs populations related to housing such as working in a shelter, as a housing advocate working directly with landlords, or in property management that houses special needs populations
• Supervisory experience - at least 3 years

Training and Experience Preferred:

• Housing Choice Voucher Administration experience
• Experience working in a union environment- at least 2 years

Licensing Requirements:

• HCV – Complete a week long training and certification for the following within 1 year of hire:
  • HCV Eligibility and Occupancy or HCV Occupancy Specialist
