As the Senior Manager for Thin Films, you will lead an exceptional team responsible for new product introduction and ramp at Micron’s newest memory fab. This co-located R&D and manufacturing site creates a rare opportunity to move technologies seamlessly from development to high-volume production. Your leadership will be pivotal in building a strong team culture, enabling equipment readiness, driving yield performance, and collaborating across Technology Development, Facilities, Procurement, and industry partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Build, mentor, and lead a high performing team of process engineers
Drive process transfer, equipment readiness, and yield ramp for new technologies
Partner closely with Technology Development, Manufacturing, and suppliers across geographies
Champion a safe and positive work environment aligned with Micron’s values
Support qualification and startup of an innovative new processing facility
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years semiconductor experience, including DRAM, other memory, or logic/foundry
Deep knowledge of Diffusion, CVD, PVD, and process transfer
5+ years leading process engineering teams in HVM environment
Experience managing suppliers and driving accountability
Strong communication skills and ability to build a values driven team culture
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
Experience collaborating with global partners
Background supporting new fab startup or large-scale technology transitions
