Ensuring the compliance of quality, time and cost targets; implementing the best compromise between market requirements, production and industrialization links.</li> <li>Working specifically in the field of Electrical CAD design and component selection to ensure all electrical aspects of the product are designed and documented in line with the expectations of production, service and the customer. </li> <li>To support product production transfer from other locations, interface with main center of expertise, understand and manage bill of materials.</li> <li>Interface with other departments.</li> <li>Define design procedure and process for harmonization among the design group.                    </li> <li>Working with Product Management and ETO (Engineer to Order) teams as and when required in order to satisfy business requirements (usually customer projects).</li> <li>To support cooling products design regulatory compliance (CE/UL/CSA).</li> </ul> <p>                                                            </p> <p><u>Do you enjoy?</u></p> <ul> <li>To be highly competent in MCAD and ECAD design for the electrical product features. Undertaking the direct responsibility of the choice and sizing of the main electrical components for standard and special products preparing and distributing the documentation for their realization independently, to ensure the compliance with the scheduled production times. </li> <li>Working with electrical schematics in a relevant CAD package.</li> <li>To be highly competent on regulatory and processes applicable on electrical design.</li> <li>Ensuring appropriate CE/EMC or UL/ETL compliances are met for electrical design and component selection. Radiated and conducted electrical emissions and immunity. </li> <li>To ensure accurate design information is shared to internal and external customers.</li> <li>Strong involvement in the product prototyping and testing phase.</li> <li>To ensure the accurate and timely preparation of the technical documentation coordinating in house and outsourced resources.</li> <li>Ability to manage marketing requests and teamwork with multiple departments.</li> <li>Ability to manage bill of materials (ERP and PLM).</li> <li>Ability to understand refrigerant circuits and related standard applicable.</li> <li>Expert on harmonic distortion and on technologies for reductions.</li> <li>Ability to identify the CTQC of the product and identify the EoL parameter threshold to be checked.</li> <li>Interface with the sales network, the suppliers and the productive departments.</li> <li>To calculate the costs of the designed solutions in cooperation with project manager and/or ETO manager.</li> </ul> <p>Willing to travel occasionally between different Vertiv divisions</p> <p> </p> <p><u>What can you expect? </u></p> <ul> <li>To support R&amp;D or ETO work in different Vertiv EMEA Thermal facility as and when the business requires it.</li> <li>Re-engineering of existing Thermal products for performance, legislative or cost improvement (VA/VE).</li> <li>To coordinate and manage new design or re-industrialization steps of the different units.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><u>What do we need from you?</u></p> <ul> <li>Expert knowledge of ECAD and schematic drawing tools for designing the electrical elements of products normal in the HVAC market sector. Transferable expertise from other similar industries will be accepted.</li> <li>Expert on different ECAD.</li> <li>Knowledge of technical norms (CE/UL), company procedures and grounding of basic detailed lists.</li> <li>Knowledge of Active and Passive Filters for harmonics mitigation, Power Factor Correction and similar.</li> <li>Capacity of taking decisions as for solving problems. </li> <li>Knowledge of the sheet metal working technologies, refrigerant circuits and components.</li> <li>Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in the Italian and English languages.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Are You the one we are looking for?
