<p><b>Aquafeed process innovation Senior Scientist - with significant knowledge in food/ingredient chemistry</b></p><p></p><p><b>Execution of development and research projects within process technology</b></p><p></p><p>Are you a specialist in food/ingredient chemistry and have interest working with innovative process technology projects where you are part of developing the next generation of fish feed; then this is the position for you!</p><p></p><p>We are looking to hire a new colleague into our Process Innovation Team which is located together with our process innovation laboratory and state-of-the-art pilot plant facilities in Brande, Denmark.</p><p></p><p>The position will focus on applied ingredient and food chemistry science combined with process technology knowledge in relation to development of a new specific generation of aqua feed. In this position you will join a skilled international team, that can support your continuous training and journey in aquafeed technology, in a company where innovation and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do.</p><p></p><p><b>BioMar Process Innovation Unit department</b></p><p></p><p>BioMar’s Process Innovation Unit includes a fully equipped lab and pilot facility with a wide range of feed processing equipment designed to test new technologies, produce experimental aquafeeds, and test new ingredients, concepts, and products.</p><p></p><p>You will work in Brande, Denmark, but will be in close contact with our global process and R&amp;D colleagues located across the globe. Travelling activity up to 30 days/year can be expected. The position requires experience and knowledge within food chemistry and binding properties in a food matrix system. Preferably this experience is combined with process technology <span>understanding/experience</span> and a scientific project approach. The primary tasks will include:</p><ul><li>Planning and execution of project related to new generation aqua feed with focus area of ingredient and applied science combined with process technology</li><li>Providing <span>technical/implementation</span> support to our factories world-wide</li><li>Pilot plant testing, scale-up and full-scale validation of new products and functional ingredients</li><li>Process modelling, data analysis and statistical trial design</li><li>Method development to evaluate product and ingredient characteristics</li></ul><p></p><p><b>You are a team player and have experience within feed or food technology</b></p><p></p><p>As a person you are a team player, who likes to cooperate and be around other people. Ideally, you will have a master’s degree in food science or <span>biotechnological/chemical</span> engineering (or equivalent) combined with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
