The Job
Panther is looking for an Events and Field Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of all of Panther’s in-person events and marketing initiatives. The role’s core responsibilities include event strategy, planning, and execution for major cybersecurity industry conferences, regional and local events for field and partner marketing programs, and internal company events.
This role will report to the head of marketing and closely collaborate with peers on the marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders in sales, partnerships, HR, product, and executive leadership. The right candidate will have a proven track record of flawlessly executing major industry conferences, regional field programs, in-person partner marketing initiatives, and internal corporate events, making significant contributions to our pipeline goals while supporting internal HR initiatives.

The Responsibilities
- Develop event programs that generate and accelerate sales pipeline and align to corporate go to market objectives and key initiatives
- Work with SDRs, account executives, partnership stakeholders and sales management to strategize, plan, and implement the optimal mix of field events and programs for our regions
- Own end-to-end strategy and logistical execution for large cybersecurity industry conferences spanning exhibition and booth presence and all ancillary events, including but not limited to partner happy hours, VIP dinners, and practitioner workshops
- Develop and implement event promotion tactics, spanning web, email, and social media channels, and manage backend attendee registration workflows in close collaboration with web, marketing ops and demand generation
- Create and execute channel partner campaigns, including but not limited to joint co-marketing events, partner activation, and engagement
- Plan and execute quarterly field marketing initiatives with sales leadership, SDRs, account executives, and top partners to raise brand awareness and accelerate pipeline growth
- Track and report the impact of event and field marketing efforts on sales pipeline, identify any gaps, and revise field marketing strategies to fill gaps
- Ensure each event has a comprehensive pre and post nurturing strategy
- Organize in-person corporate events for Panther employees, coordinating with HR and department leaders to execute programs that enhance the employee experience and boost engagement
- Deliver on all other aspects of event programs including internal communications and alignment, vendor relations, staffing logistics, onsite support, lead handoff, follow-up processes, and reporting
- 30% travel as needed to support on-site logistics for conferences, regional and local field events, and company events
The Requirements
- Minimum 2-3yrs of experience in B2B events, field marketing, or partner marketing
- Based in San Francisco / Bay Area
- Strong relationship builder; can develop highly effective working relationships with many different sales personalities
- Owner-operator - a highly organized “doer” with a vision to expanding our field marketing function and making it his or her own
- Strategic thinker, detailed-oriented, organized and efficient, and committed to producing high-quality results
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, plan 6-12 months in advance, with an agile, flexible approach to adjusting plans to maximize event impact
