As our new Sr. Sales Manager, you will leverage your experience with international teams to develop and execute strategies that drive growth and success. With a primary focus on leading and mentoring your team, this role gives you the opportunity to shape its future and play a key role in revolutionizing the animal healthcare industry.
You'll combine people management, strategy, and hands-on sales expertise to make a tangible impact as we scale, delivering meaningful results and contributing to the long-term success of the company.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
People Management (70% Focus):
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment and engagement.
- Direct reporting line of 5, with growth expectation up to 10-15.
- Coach on sales strategies, negotiation, and relationship-building to help achieve targets.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and support growth through one-on-ones and team meetings.
- Manage performance using KPIs and provide mentorship to improve sales results.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture aligned with company values.
Sales Strategy & Execution (30% Focus):
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets, focusing on high-growth markets.
- Manage key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Analyze trends, forecast revenue, and adapt strategies to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to report on performance and market insights.
👋 Who You Are
- Experienced Sales Manager: With 5-10 years of experience in sales, you have at least 3+ years of people management experience managing high-growth sales teams (5FTE+) and driving exceptional performance.
- International Experience: You have a strong background working with international teams and customers, navigating cross-cultural dynamics, and building relationships across borders.
- Proven Track Record in Sales: You are results-driven and have a history of consistently achieving sales targets, with experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Versatile Sales Experience: You've progressed within different roles in your sales career and are comfortable between switching between driving strategy and actively engaging in the day-to-day operations as we scale.
- People-Focused Leader: You have a passion for coaching and developing people, and your leadership style emphasizes empowerment, motivation, and accountability.
