The Marketing Director, Occupier Advisory is responsible for leading, developing, and executing a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for the Americas Occupier Advisory businesses, which include Tenant Representation and Strategic Consulting. This role will collaborate closely with business partners and the broader Marketing, Communications & Research organization to design and implement impactful marketing and sales enablement strategies that support fee earners and resonate with clients and prospects to drive revenue growth and elevate brand awareness.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Create lasting value for our clients, our people, and the communities we serve by delivering innovative, people-focused solutions for the built world.
- Deliver innovative strategies and tactics based on deep understanding of competitive landscape, industry trends, customer buyer behavior and personas, customer data, fee earner feedback, and market segmentation, etc.
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine a robust strategic marketing plan, including specific marketing campaigns and sales enablement strategies, that aligns with the organization’s business goals and priorities.
- Manage multiple verticals within Occupier Advisory to ensure marketing and sales enablement activities are tailored to each group's unique focus, client base, and market challenges.
- Measure performance and analyze results to inform ongoing strategy adjustments and optimizations through KPIs such as campaign performance, fee earner feedback and adoption of tools and processes, customer feedback, etc.
- Lead a high-performing team by fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability; provide strategic mentorship and development opportunities to support individual growth and elevate overall team performance.
Business Alignment and Collaboration:
- Partner with business leadership to understand strategic objectives and align marketing initiatives to support fee earners and revenue growth.
- Champion marketing strategies that will deliver greatest impact on growth and return on investment and effort, influencing key business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Leverage competitive, client, and market insights to inform strategies and optimize marketing investments.
- Balance proactive strategic initiatives with reactive, tactical responses to market needs.
Integrated Marketing Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal Marketing, Communications & Research teams, as well as third party vendors, to integrate digital marketing, creative design, communications, and research into comprehensive content plans.
- Drive engagement throughout the buying journey by delivering high-impact marketing content.
- Partner with Marketing and Research leaders from other service lines to share best practices, gather competitive intelligence, and align on broader marketing strategies.
Thought Leadership and Industry Expertise:
- Lead strategies and tactics based on deep understanding of competitive landscape, industry trends, customer buyer behavior and personas, customer data, customer needs, and market segmentation to position C&W as the real estate advisor of choice and the premier industry thought leader to shape influence and reach key targets with differentiation.
- Anticipate market opportunities and threats, providing strategic insights to enhance decision-making.
Performance Optimization:
- Optimize the effectiveness of marketing expenditures by leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and guide resource allocation.
- Provide leadership and direction for marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and consistent application of global brand standards.
- Provide ongoing reporting of progress toward key objectives, milestones, success metrics and other evidence of performance, supported by data and constituent feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within commercial real estate.
- Proven track record of serving as the primary marketing leader for an office, region, or revenue-focused business group.
- Track record of successfully implementing and enforcing marketing procedures and achieving measurable results.
- Demonstrated success in managing advertising, public relations, events, and business development activities.
