As a Channel Planner within our After-Sales organization, you will sit at the intersection of data, logistics, and customer experience. Every decision you make will directly influence how quickly and efficiently Lucid owners return to the road.

Lucid is seeking a Channel Planner to support the after-sales organization for Service Parts and Accessories in Tempe, Arizona. This role will be responsible for managing the allocation and expediting of direct materials across multiple channels to create an efficient Available-to-Promise (ATP) strategy.

The ideal candidate should be able to effectively collaborate with service part distribution centers, field service operations, and service material/demand planning teams. The objective is to improve inventory stocking models and increase service part availability closest to the point-of-use, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead allocation and expediting of orders across all channels to optimize fulfillment, reduce logistics costs, and ensure timely delivery through strategic warehouse picking, shipping, and outbound inventory movement.
  • Analyze historical usage and regional demand at all levels of the service distribution network to support predictive forecasting and optimal inventory positioning.
  • Be a change agent by building confidence and relationships with cross-functional teams, driving effective communication to align on allocation and expediting strategies while proactively identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Execute creation, modification, transfer, consolidation, and expediting global orders to improve supply availability and reduce operational delays.
  • Monitor and expedite urgent or critical parts orders to prevent service disruptions and minimize backorders.
  • Identify and support development of system tools to maximize planning and expediting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics to develop reporting tools that resolve inventory challenges, improve lead times, and automate data flows to support downstream processes.
  • Design and monitor forecast metrics at all aggregation levels and provide timely feedback to demand planners for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the positioning and expedited launch of new products, ensuring alignment across business channels and markets.
  • Support management with real-time updates on service parts availability, expedite status, potential backorders, and recommended solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in planning, materials management, or supply-chain planning in a manufacturing company.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau and other visualization tools. Ability to interpret and analyze large data sets, draw conclusions/insights and make recommendations to management for solving business problems.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on demand despite changes in work scope or focus.
  • Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box for solutions to complex challenges.
