Job Description Summary

The Director of Research Operations is responsible for oversight of all operational aspects of clinical research being performed within the Neuromuscular Clinical Research (NMCR) Division to ensure alignment with the University of Pennsylvania, GCP, FDA and all applicable regulatory bodies. The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of clinical trial processes and the conduct of clinical research studies.

Job Description

The candidate will serve as the day to day operations lead for investigators and clinical research staff and will be responsible for the coordination and support in management of multiple phase, industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials throughout their lifecycle (startup, conduct and closeout).


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 7 to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
