About the role
Description
Are you highly organized and have high energy? Consider joining the Leadership Team at Life Care Home Health Family as our new Chief of Staff. We are looking for someone who:
- Acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO/President and senior management team.
- Manages the CEO/Presidents calendar and prioritizes their time and schedule.
- Drafts letters, emails, reports, and other correspondence on behalf of the CEO/President.
- Supports CEO/President in meetings by taking notes and assuming responsibility for completion of action items.
- Acts as the liaison between CEO/President and other executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the proper time.
- Participates in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making with the CEO/President and senior management team.
- Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the CEO/President.
- Researches and recommends new and revised policies and strategies. (SOPs)
- Creates and maintains systems and processes to streamline operations.

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Degree in business administration, finance, or a similar field
- 3+ years in a business or executive management role
- Track record of organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
- Highly experienced with Excel, Access, PPT, or Google Sheets for reporting and analytics
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting is required in an office environment.
- Ability to always handle stressful situations calmly and courteously.
- It requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs.
- Work requires considerable sitting and close-up vision work.
- Continually communicating with staff and other health care professionals utilizing email and telephone systems
- The typical weight lifted is five pounds; the maximum weight lifted is ten pounds.
- Will possibly require some travel
