About the Role:
We’re hiring a senior technical product leader to own Sunco’s lighting and electrical supply portfolio end-to-end. This role will manage and scale a team of Product Managers and Project/Program Managers. This role is accountable for both what we build (product strategy, requirements, customer value) and how we build it (NPI execution, manufacturing alignment, supplier partnerships, iteration systems).
You’ll lead lighting products from concept through launch and into high-velocity iteration. You’ll drive gains in reliability, thermal performance, manufacturability, cost-downs, and customer outcomes. You’ll operate as a cross-team leader, because you understand that a single team can go fast, but a team of teams can go far.
You'll partner closely with data, software engineering, hardware engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, sales/marketing, CS and more. You're already actively exploring how AI + data is reshaping manufacturing and hardware product development. .
What You’ll Do:
- Own lighting products end-to-end: Lead NPI from requirements → prototypes → validation/compliance → pilot → ramp → launch → post-launch iteration.
- Lead and develop the PM/Program team: Manage Product Managers and Project/Program Managers; set operating cadence, priorities, and execution standards; coach decision-making and communication quality.
- Manage full product lifecycle: Drive roadmap planning from concept to end-of-life; continuously assess market conditions and customer needs; lead feature additions, refreshes, and portfolio decisions.
- Drive iteration at scale: Improve reliability, thermal performance, manufacturability, packaging, margin, returns/defects, yield, lead time, and supplier/CM changes.
