Job Title: Lead RRH Case Manger
FLSA Status: Full Time - non-exempt
Reports to: Housing Now Director
Schedule: Flexible days 10AM- 6:30PM
Supervises: Safe Parking Housing Navigator/CM
Rate of Pay: $27.56/hour
Closing Date: 4/1/2024
Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:

Function: Support individuals who are experiencing houselessness and a part of the Colorado Safe Parking Initiative in Adams County and help them become permanently housed! Core activities will include housing navigation, ongoing case management services for participants which includes assessment, identifying and administering appropriate financial interventions, referrals to community resources (clothing, food, and other emergency assistances), and regular case management meetings including home visits as needed. Driving to meet community members participating in the Colorado Safe Parking Initiative. The case manager will also coordinate and facilitate participant orientation meetings. This position works closely with all members of the Housing Now team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:

- Landlord/property management outreach and relationship building.
- Develop rapport and communication with both property managers and participants experiencing homelessness.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Knowledge of the complexities of persons experiencing houselessness
- Knowledge of community resources
- Demonstrated history of providing professional, effective programming with participants
- Ability to complete timely and detailed documentation (including assessments)
- Ability to use professional discretion to determine appropriate interventions.
- Desire to serve others by building on their strengths.
- Strong skills in customer service
- Competent in working independently within clear parameters in a team environment.
- Bi-lingual (preferred)
- Successfully pass background check
- Possess driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Internal PTM training within first three months of employment
- Understanding of HIPPA compliance
Qualification and Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work or related field.
- Experience in the housing market of the Denver Metro Area with homelessness prevention preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Two years’ experience providing housing services to highly vulnerable populations preferred.
- Case management experience preferred.
- Must be minimally 21 years of age and possessing a valid in-state Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to make public presentations, ability to manage databases, administer complex systems and follow program policies. Experience with federal, state and local grants preferred. Ability to discern appropriate approaches and solutions in highly complex cases. Experience in Rapid Rehousing, Housing First, Trauma informed Care, Wrap Around service
