Job Summary:

At Oberlin Marketing, we are dedicated to serving and supporting insurance professionals. We provide administrative support and marketing distribution of insurance products, delivering exceptional service to our agents. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with agents to assist them in expanding and servicing their insurance-related business portfolios.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound agent communication related to quotes, applications, and service-related issues and questions.

  • Process applications.

  • Follow up on pending quotes and applications with carriers and agents to get business placed using status reporting, CRM tracking, and attentiveness to details in a timely manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Time Management, Ethical, Good Judgement, Adherence to Confidentiality Standards.

  • Positive, upbeat personality reflecting OM’s commitment to outstanding customer service.

  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently and within a team on ongoing projects.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Good organizational skills (Insurance Experience is preferred but not required).

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Intermediate typing & proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Dependable, reliable, and motivated, with a positive, professional demeanor.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Support organization’s goals & values.

  • Ability to obtain IN State Life/Health Insurance License if required.
