Social Finance Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in Cottonwood Heights, UT:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility
programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design, develop, code, test and
deploy user-facing resilient and scalable products and experiences. Work on full-stack which includes
front-end development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, GraphQL) and back-end (Kubernetes, Docker,
Postgres, MongoDB). Work with engineering and product stakeholders to build the best financial
products and tools. Collaborate with a team of like-minded engineers focused on building industry-
leading software. Own and ideate technical solutions for product requirements and user stories with
minimal supervision. Participate in design and code reviews, generate ideas for new initiatives and
technologies. Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team.
Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any
field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any
occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively
responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) JavaScript; (2) ReactJS; (3) Jenkins; (4) IntelliJ; (5) Hibernate; (6) Spring
Boot; (7) MongoDB; (8) Java; (9) PostgresSql; and (10) Typescript. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $150,000.00 - $172,500.00 per annum
