Hebrew to English Translation Editor

Description

We are seeking English speakers with a good understanding of Hebrew and excellent attention to detail to join our team of freelancers.   

The work requires reviewing and editing an AI generated English translation of Hebrew dialogue to ensure that it is a true and accurate representation of the dialogue. The content includes Holocaust testimonies.   

Working as an independent contractor, you have the flexibility to choose when and where you work.   

 

The Ideal candidate:  

• Excellent knowledge of English grammar and punctuation 
• An understanding of Hebrew  
• Excellent proofreading skills  
• Excellent research skills 
• Open to feedback and able to make immediate corrections 
• No previous experience required  
• Tech savvy and able to pick up new software easily 
• Must pass Verbit proficiency tests  

*** This is an independent contractor position and pay will be on a per audio minute basis, as is standard for the industry.
